To Secure the Animal Inside the Game Sled^TM

• Open the sled and spread it out on level ground.
• Position the upper retainer strap just below the front legs. (NOTE: These inner retainers are movable to accommodate different size or types of game you are hunting. Ensure that the head is positioned at the top of the sled at the point where the middle head support strap is sewn).
• Bring the lower strap around the rear legs. One wrap around the legs is all that is necessary. Fasten the strap to the third clip, inner buckle, and cinch it securely - but not too tight.
• Next, position the middle strap around the center of the game and connect it to the second inner buckle and cinch it snugly - but again, not too tight.
• Complete by wrapping the upper retainer strap around the front legs and over the top of the deer's chest cavity. Connect the strap to the first buckle and cinch it up snug, but do not over tighten.
• Adjust legs and straps to accommodate game with minimal bulging.

To Close and Secure the Game Sled^TM

• Connect the rear outer strap to the rear buckle, then the middle closure strap to the middle buckle, then connect the head closure strap. Tighten all three straps taught. This process ensures the game is locked in place.

At this point, you can use the straps provided to drag your deer out alone. Or, you can share the straps with a hunting partner and drag the buck out together. You can also use your treestand safety harness. Attach it to the straps provided and drag your game out that way!

The Game Sled and Game Gurney is made for standard woodland conditions, not for gravel roads, extreme sharp rock conditions, or hard road surfaces.  Using in extreme conditions may reduce the life or serious damage your unit.
